Akshaya Pradhan has academic foundation in law including a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) specializing in Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law from Jindal Law School, where she completed a thesis on the licensing of Standard Essential Patents, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Modern Law College. These academic experiences, combined with active participation in moot courts and internships, have equipped her with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and continuous professional growth, enabling her to navigate both litigation and non-litigation aspects of legal practice effectively and contribute meaningfully to the legal profession.
Over the course of her legal career, Adv. Akshaya Pradhan has developed a comprehensive skill set across various areas of law, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property rights, litigation support, and compliance. Currently, as a Legal Associate at Great Mission Group Consultancy, she manages Geographical Indication (GI) prosecution processes, encompassing research, GI application filing, and FCR replies. Her role also involves drafting and managing a range of legal documents, including copyright and trademark applications, opposition and rectification filings, and other critical documents such as POAs, user affidavits, and counter-statements for trademark registrations. Notably, she has provided legal support for an international client from the Netherlands, handling trademark and copyright litigation matters with precision and professionalism.
